summary:
Merlin, the sorcerer also known as Emrys, has become King Uther's newest prisoner in the palace of Camelot. Everyone knows sorcerers don't get imprisoned, they get the gallows. However, King Uther wants what he cannot have, and what Merlin cannot give.
It really is too bad that the King's son, Prince Arthur, has become fascinated with the prisoner, and it is a real shame that said prisoner has begun to teach Morgana, the King's ward, magic.
